Odell is a municipal park managed by the City in the heart of Fredericton. The site has some great terrain with trails that wind though areas of old forest. The singletrack here is a result of unauthorized building over several decades and has been the source of controversy in the past. However, through the Odell Park master planning process, completed in 2020, there’s new hope that the areas will support a sustainably managed trail network open to riders going forward.
Expect hills to climb and lots of rooty, technical riding. This is a multi-use are with lots of hikers so please be courteous and give them the right of way. Odell gets so much snowshoe traffic in the winter that it makes for an excellent fat bike option.
Above all else – please stay on the trail.
