Hadley

The Hadley trails are named after a local family who were very active building and maintaining some of the first singletrack in the area. This was the site of the annual ‘Hadley Challenge’ race course each year until the Route 8 bypass cut off a portion of route. Today most people access the trails from the Penniac Rec. Centre.

Many of these hand-built trails have an old-school feel. Be prepared for technical riding and a lot of terrain. A stop at the Allen brook lookout is recommended. This trail network crosses many pieces of private land. Please leave no trace.

*UPDATE – July 15/2020
A local landowner has made the decision to close access to the Bunny trail, Hellbender, and the Connect the Dots trail. RVC will be reaching out to thank this landowner for years of cooperation with the cycling community. Please respect his wishes and avoid using these trails.
