Mtn Bike Minto – Coal Miners Lung Race and Festival
Minto Mountain Bike Festival! The center piece to the festival will be the 2017 XC marathon provincial championship race taking place on the afternoon of June 17th (~ 2:00pm start). The race will have 20/40/60 km options featuring some of our best singletrack.
The race will start/finish at the Minto Centennial Arena. During/post race festivities will include:
– Food trucks
– Beer garden
– Guided trips to the local swimming hole for early finishers
– Bands starting at 4:00pm, including The Wilder Sons, The Castletones, and Minto’s own Van Lantz/Dr. Morrissy
– Bonfire
– On site camping with access to the arena facilities
– Social rides Sunday morning
Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the festivities, not just the racers!
